An economical compression-seal system with a 74 mm installation depth. In the five-chamber version statics are the main consideration, in the six-chamber version thermal insulation. A large steel reinforcement fits into the wide main chamber, so it stays stable even on large structures. We offer this system with double glazing: on the standard 123x148 cm reference window the U-value comes out at around 1.1 W/m²K. If triple glazing is the aim, the Gealan Linear or the Kömmerling is the better route.

How much does a Gealan S8000 window cost

We do not publish a price list, because we manufacture to measure and a price written for a standard size would be misleading anyway. What we will tell you is what moves it.

Size, glazing bars, opening type

We manufacture to measure. A large, divided, tilt-and-turn unit costs more than fixed glazing of the same size. With several items the unit price is usually more favourable.

Glazing

Triple glazing costs more than double, and so do safety glass and enhanced acoustic glass. We quote several versions in the offer so that you can see the difference in forints.

Colour and installation

Foil-laminated and RAL colour versions carry a surcharge. The strip-out, the installation and the foam sealing are included; the sill and the removal of rubble are separate items. Scaffolding is rarely needed, only where the height calls for it.

What comes with the installation

With us window replacement comes from one hand: we take out the old unit, we fit the new one, with fixings every 70 centimetres and foam sealing. You do not have to coordinate two teams.

We give a 5-year guarantee on the installation. We have been working since 2004, with 4816 windows and doors fitted behind us.

If you are planning a refurbishment, it is worth looking at shading at the same time: it means one call-out and one making good. The front door can go into the same quote too.

The range in this system is narrower than in the others. The following four colours are available, with foil outside and white inside, or with foil on both sides.

Coloured versions carry a surcharge, which you see on a separate line in the quote. The samples are photographs of the actual foil, but screen colour accuracy is limited, so at the survey we put the original colour sample in your hand.

Installation from one hand

Removal, installation, fixings every 70 centimetres, foam sealing. The sill, the RAL tape and the removal of rubble are separate items.

Honestly: the Gealan Linear costs roughly the same today but has a centre seal, so it gives one sealing plane more. If you are thinking in Gealan systems, look at the Linear first. The S 8000 is justified if you specifically insist on it.

What most people ask

How is the Gealan S8000 different from the other systems?

The installation depth, the number of chambers and the number of seals differ, and thermal and sound insulation follow from these. After the survey we quote two or three systems, so you can see the difference in forints.

What colours can it be ordered in?

In white and in foil colours, with different colours inside and out if you wish. The coloured version carries a surcharge and appears on a separate line in the quote.

What is the manufacturing time?

It depends on the system chosen and on the season, typically between three and six weeks. We give you an exact figure at the survey.
