We come out and measure before manufacturing. We do not copy the size of the old window; we survey the opening, together with the installation situation.

We agree in advance when we are coming. We do not turn up unannounced.
Horizontal and vertical dimensions, wall thickness, installation depth, the condition of the reveal and the sill, and the shutter box if there is one.
After the measuring you get it item by item: size, structure, opening type, glazing, price. You can compare it with another quote.
A few millimetres out can wreck a whole item in made-to-measure manufacturing, which is why we do not ask you for the sizes we manufacture from. For a quote request it is enough to say roughly how many openings there are.
| What we look at | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| The opening measured at three points | The old frame and the wall can both be out of square; the narrowest dimension decides |
| Wall thickness, installation depth | This determines the profile system and the size of the sill |
| Shutter box, add-on unit | If there is one, the height of the structure follows it |
| Access, floor | The time needed for installation and the method of delivery may change accordingly |
| Condition of the inner reveal | This is what shows how much making good is involved and what has to go into a separate item |
Next step: Installation →
Send us the sizes, or just how many openings there are. We come back within one working day and arrange a time for the survey.
